Welcome to my therapy practice. I am a bilingual (English-Spanish) licensed therapist. I have worked extensively in county government, community mental health agencies and schools in Fairfax County, Virginia and in Montgomery County, Maryland. My specialties include anxiety; depression; PTSD; physical and sexual abuse; dysfunctional family patterns; self-esteem; pregnancy; grief and loss; and relationships. I'm EMDR certified and have extensive training in trauma therapy. I also use CBT, Psychodynamic Therapy and evidence-based modalities to foster growth and healing in a safe and supportive environment. As a therapist, my primary goal is to provide a compassionate and non-judgmental space where you feel heard, understood, respected and not alone. I work to build a collaborative partnership with all clients, regardless of what brings them to treatment. The focus of our sessions aims to promote self-growth by increasing an understanding of the different behaviors, patterns, thoughts, stories, and beliefs that are getting in the way of living a fulfilling life. I use an integrated approach to therapy to support my clients to invest in their strengths, while shifting away from patterns that no longer serve them. My passion is to help guide the process of change so that you can live your optimal life. I offer sessions in English and Spanish. Therapy is available in-person in Herndon, VA and virtually for those across Virginia and Maryland.
